The swing to Romney now seems less of a bounce and more of a prodigious leap. Today, two Survey USA polls show Romney just a point behind President Obama in Ohio and Nevada… an extraordinary turn around.
Before the debate, it was clear that Governor Romney would be at a significant disadvantage in Ohio with regard to early voting but this turn around now suggests Romney may not only get his fair share of Ohioans, but he may have turned a few heads that were previously committed to voting Democrat.
Will Mitt Romney Take The Lead In The RCP National Average?
He has been behind and all but counted out of a chance of being the President of the United States, but today could be the day when Mitt Romney takes the lead in the RCP National Average.
Yesterday Governor Romney moved to within a half-point of President Obama after a Pew Research poll had him in the lead by 4pts. So anticipation is building on today’s release from Rasmussen and Gallup.
Surprisingly, Rasmussen retreated to a 48-48 tie yesterday which suggests the better than expected job numbers and the renewed personal attacks through advertisement in battleground states were having an effect.
